Personal Protection: The course goal is to develop the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the save and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law abiding citizens right to self defense. This is the course required for Michigan's CCW license. This is a one day class and the cost is $120.00 (refreshments and lunch included). Topics will include:
Introduction to defensive shooting
Safe gun handling
Basic defensive handgun skills
Firearms and the law
Use of deadly force
Selecting the right firearm and ammo
Learning to use cover and concealment
Non-lethal alternatives
Strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation

Refuse To Be A Victim®: The course goal is to provide valuable counsel on crime-prevention strategies. The class will explain proactive steps citizens can take to increase security in their home or apartment, their workplace, where they travel – even on the Internet. Key aspects of the training include raising awareness levels to recognize potentially dangerous situations, assessing security devices such as motion detectors and lighting systems, studying the psychology of criminal behavior and implementing various crime prevention and personal safety measures
Advanced Personal Protection: The course goal is to provide advanced strategies and concepts of personal protection. The entire class will consist of hands-on training on the shooting range.

Personal Protection Refresher Course: Michigan law requires that at each CPL renewal the licensee will need to certify that he or she has completed at least 3 hours of firearms training (including one hour of range time) in the previous six months. This course will meet that criteria and will consist of one hour of review and two hours of firing range time. Also note that the Advanced Class will also meet the renewal requirements.
Ladies Self-Defense: The course goal is to provide hands on self-defense training for females. The first half of this 4 hour class is lecture and the last half is one-on-one full contact sparring with simulations of hits, chokes and grabs. Girls under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. You will be getting dirty and sweaty so wear comfortable clothes with no jewelry.
